As with others games in the series, the player must build a city in an empty plot of land of variable size and resources. The percentage objectives were replaced by direct goals - treasury, trade profit, production, slaying a monster or conquering a rival city among others. Food resources in this game are urchins, fish, pork, cheese, carrots, onions and wheat. Raw Materials include wood (for triremes and monument building), bronze (armor and sculptures), marble (monument building), grapes (wine), olives (olive oil) and fleece (which can be directly sold to citizens). For the first time, it became possible to coin currency - if a silver mine is available, the player can build a mint and have a limited yearly output of currency. Another new feature is how goods are distributed. A large plaza-like road named agora is built on a road, and goods stands are placed on top of it. After the first goods are available (as the owners of each shop pick them from the nearest supply), a peddler will start roaming around in the roads distributing available (and required) goods. Other services must be provided to the city - culture require colleges to train philosophers, gymnasiums for athletes and drama schools for actors, which in turn go (respectively) to podiums, stadiums and theatres to entertain the city. Every four years the Olympic Games are held, the chances of victory being changed from the number of facilities, and by the help of Apollo. Additional services 
are provided by water bearers from a fountain, healers from an infirmary, watchmen and superintendents. Tax collectors levy a charge based on how well evolved a house is. Religion plays a larger part than in previous games, as Gods or their monsters can protect or attack the player's City. Heroes can be called to slay those monsters or to complete a quest abroad, given the player is able to build their homes (some require culture access, other high desirability, others a wall surrounding the house) and call for them (which require a modest to large amount of goods). If the player builds a large temple any of the Twelve Olympians (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Dionysus, in order of importance) - Hestia is not included, and Hera was featured only in the expansion) they can be seen wandering the city occasionally blessing buildings. If the city is invaded, Zeus, Poseidon (by the Kraken) Hades (by the Cerberus), Athena, Artemis (by an unit of Amazons), Ares (himself and by his pet -as he treat him as such- dragon and a unit of Sparti) help defend the city, giving a clear edge over the invaders. If the city is at issues with a god which attacks the city, and the city has a sanctuary to a god of a higher importance, he or she will defend the city (except Aphrodite, which defends against Ares, Hephaestus, Hermes and Dionysus). Monsters can be slain by the according hero, by Apollo or by a large army.

Prisoner of Azkaban is a great game for younger kids, and it's fun for less-discriminating older fans of Harry Potter too.The Dementors are coming and this time Harry needs his friends. From the opening scene on the Hogwarts Express to the climatic finale on the shore of the great lake at Hogwarts, the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban videogame immerses the player in the world of Harry Potter. Play as Harry, Ron and Hermione, fly the hippogriff high above the grounds of Hogwarts, and utilize newly-learned spells face the dreaded Azkaban guards.
Harry's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is beset by Sirius Black, the murderous wizard who is said to have betrayed Harry's parents to their deaths at the hands of the evil Lord Voldemort. Having recently escaped from the wizard prison Azkaban, Black is hot on young Harry's trail and presumably looking to finish the job he started more than a decade earlier. Of course, there's a lot more to the story than that, as anyone who has read the book or seen the movie can attest, although the game glosses over most of the major plot details in favor of playable sequences that aren't in the original storyline. The game feels like a companion piece to the book or film, as if you're expected to have gone through one or the other prior to playing the game--and presumably, just about anybody who's going to play this game already has.
The gameplay here is a straightforward point-and-click affair. You'll control Harry, Ron, or Hermione (as the game dictates) through a series of dungeonlike action levels with equally light combat and puzzle-solving elements. The controls really couldn't be simpler: You move around with the standard WASD configuration, jump with the right mouse button, and cast spells with the left mouse button. Spellcasting is context-sensitive, so you merely point your wand at an object, and the game will figure out which spell you need to cast. This design is charming in its simplicity, as you can run around zapping enemies, pushing blocks, and magically flinging yourself across chasms without ever so much as fiddling with a menu. It takes most of the guesswork out of figuring out the proper course of action in a given situation, which is largely what makes the game so easy.
In the action levels, which are few, you'll usually control only one of the three friends as they try to complete a linear dungeon filled with easy puzzles and the occasional monster. Harry gets to use the glacius spell to freeze water and slide down it in a sort of pseudo-race sequence; Ron can use his carpe retractum spell to pull blocks around and also grapple across large gaps; and Hermione can use lapifors and draconifors to take temporary control of a rabbit and a dragon, respectively, for the purpose of puzzle-solving. Sometimes you'll engage in combat or encounter a puzzle outside these dungeons when your friends are close by, and they'll help you fight it out or cast combo spells automatically in these instances.
Prisoner of Azkaban's action levels are tied together by a hub level that literally lets you run around the halls of Hogwarts. There are a few extra activities you can engage in between levels, such as collecting around 80 cards that show you famous wizards and monsters and playing three short minigames in which you ride the hippogriff Buckbeak, fight off a swarm of pixies, or do battle with The Monster Book of Monsters. You can also purchase passwords that let you access minor new areas in the castle from the joke shop run by Ron's brothers, Fred and George. The game is always hurrying you off from one
action event to the next, though, so you never really feel like you've got a chance to stop and just explore. After you've completed all the story elements, however, you'll have the chance to roam about and finish up all the side tasks you missed the first time through.

Free PC Game : Syberia ( Awesome game! - Mod )
Adventure games were some of the first games ever created for computers, and back in the day were the dominant PC gaming genre. Today, however, they're the ones you'll have the hardest time finding on the shelves as publishers have slowly gravitated towards more "profitable" genres. In fact, over the past two years, fans of the genre have really only had one stellar title to cling to -- Funcom's The Longest Journey. Thankfully, we now have another stellar game to put in that category: Syberia. In Syberia, you control Kate Walker, an up-and-coming New York attorney who travels to the French town of Valadilene to get the owner's signature of the Voralberg Factory to complete a merger. When she arrives, she learns that the owner, Anna Voralberg, has passed away and her brother, long thought dead, is the new heir. To complete the merger, Kate must travel to Siberia to find this brother, and along the way, she'll learn about the intriguing life Hans Voralberg held, his wonderful automaton creations,
and the people his presence touched along the way. It should be easy to tell from the accompanying screenshots on these pages how beautiful Syberia is. Although the backdrops are static, the world feels like a living, breathing thing, with softly lapping water and flocks of birds taking flight. The cutscenes are so well done you'll think you're watching a movie, and are such a joy to watch that you'll wish they lasted much, much longer. Characters are also well rendered, especially Kate, but some walk a bit awkwardly, and Kate's run is an odd lope. Still, none of that detracts from the game's look and feel. Not only is Syberia one of the most beautiful games around, it's also beautiful sounding as well. Nick Varley and Dimitri Bodiansky have produced a soundtrack so extraordinary it easily stands on its own. It's an amazing example of the quality of music that developers are capable of producing. The fabulous sound effects and voice acting complement the music so that just listening to the game is pure pleasure. Of course, no matter how beautiful an adventure game looks or sounds, it's not worth a cent if the interface is uncomfortable or the story or puzzles are poor. 
Fortunately, Syberia does a terrific job in two of those departments and an acceptable job in one. The interface is simple to use and takes only minutes to learn. Simply left-click on something to use (or look at), and if the object is a person, you can talk to them the same way. Right-clicking anywhere on the screen brings up a menu with access to anything in your possession, including Kate's cell phone. The puzzles are the least developed parts of the game. Some adventure games rely on puzzles heavily to propel the story forward; in Syberia, they sometimes feel a little tacked-on. The developers did make an attempt to make the puzzles sensible and integrate them into the game smoothly, but they still feel almost like an afterthought. The biggest problem is that you'll often be engaged in pixel-hunting as useable objects don't stand out much from the rest of the background. Kate will turn her head to look at things she can interact with, but the movement is subtle and hard to see if you've sent her running across the screen. 
Once you have the right item in your inventory, puzzles are pretty easy to figure out -- it's when you don't that you'll wrack your brain trying to figure out what you've missed. A few puzzles are annoying because they involve running back and forth through several screens trying to accomplish various parts of a task -- Kate runs so slow that it just becomes annoying, and a map allowing her to quick-jump to places she's already been would have been a welcome feature. None of these complaints really ruin the game, however, and the story more than makes up for any deficiencies in the puzzles. Since Kate is a stranger in the area, she doesn't have any buddies around to interact with -- characters who might give the player some insight into Kate's character. However, at various times throughout the game, Kate's cell phone may ring, triggering an exchange with her boss, mom, best friend, or boyfriend. You'll learn all about Kate and her relationships to these people through these triggered calls (Kate will make a few calls as well). Not all of these conversations are entirely for fluff as some important information can be relayed, so it's necessary to listen to them. As with the cell p
hone conversations, dialogue with the people Kate meets is essential to completing the game. Some of these talks can be quite long, but they're never boring. Still, Syberia is not a game for the impatient. The story of Hans Voralberg's life is told almost exclusively in this manner, so a desire to ask everything to every person you meet is necessary. Although the game is not played for laughs, Kate has an acerbic wit, and some of the non-essential conversations are humorous. give Syberia an air of magic and mystery -- many are almost realistic. Each of the four areas in the game are progressively sadder and their people more isolated and tired. The overall feel of the story can be best summed up as hauntingly sad, but Syberia isn't depressing. On the contrary, the air of sadness is countered by Kate's personal growth. When we first meet her she's uptight, only concerned with closing the deal and getting back to New York. By the end … well, I won't spoil the ending. When you've finished the game, which should take between fifteen and twenty hours, you'll feel as if you just sat through a very long, very intriguing movie. If adventure games are one of your favorite genres -- or even if they're not -- Syberia is one title you don't want to miss.

Free Game Asterix and Obelix XXL
Action game based on the famous French comic book series by Les Edition Albert René/Goscinny-Uderzo. Players control both heroes at once, similar to Nintendo's Mario & Luigi roleplaying game -- but the game is completely action-focused. By utilizing the special powers of both Asterix and Obelix at once, players can execute elaborate combo moves between the two main heroes, using such functions as the twister fusion, earthquake, and atomic magic potion. Features include huge battles inspired by the comics, with more than 70 Romans at once, spanning 40 different levels. Instead of going for a cel-shaded cartoon look, the game portrays Goscinny/Uderzo's world of 50 B.C. in a detailed 3D style, with plenty of humorous animations and special effects.
